General Formulations Sponsors NASCAR Xfinity Driver

The pressure-sensitive films manufacturer was the primary sponsor of Josh Williams’ No. 78 car at Michigan International Speedway.

General Formulations (Sparta, MI) was the primary sponsor of Josh Williams’ No. 78 Chevy Camaro at the NASCAR Xfinity Series race, New Holland 250, Aug. 6 at Michigan International Speedway.

According to a press release from the company, “General Formulations has been a proud vinyl sponsor of Josh Williams since 2016.” All of Josh’s cars this season have been wrapped with GF 230 AutoMark Vinyl and GF 242 OptiMark Optically Clear Cast UV laminate, the company says.

“General Formulations is excited to be one of the primary sponsors featured on Josh Williams’ car for this weekend’s NASCAR Xfinity Series race at Michigan International Speedway,” Matt Edwards, product manager, General Formulations, said in the release. “Our AutoMark high-quality vinyl wrap film will be used to wrap Josh Williams’ No. 78 car for the race and the graphics on the car will be highlighting our new logo that was recently just launched.”

“General Formulations has been a part of my program since the very first handprint car,” Josh Williams said in the release. “Their industry is an integral part of our industry and to be in a long-term partnership with a leading brand like General Formulations has been a key piece to weekly operations.”

The New Holland 250 race was televised on USA Network on Saturday, Aug. 6 at 3:30 p.m. EST.
