Signpainter Colt Bowden designed, gilded, painted and carved these signs for his signshop, Gold Hand Signs in McMinnville, OR. Bowden, who has painted signs professionally for 11 years and previously co-operated MAC Sign Painting (McMinnville, OR), wanted to use goldleaf, a pictorial/carved hand and a 100% hand-drawn, hand-lettered design to commemorate his new shop.

“Design-wise, I love the 1930’s and 1940’s and drew inspiration from old phone books I’ve collected from that era,” said Bowden, who used his left hand as a model.
