Hexis (Frontignan, France) is unveiling HX190WG2, a 2-mil, layered, cast-vinyl media that, according to the company, contains a formulation that makes it more workable with the print systems’ imperfections. The layered structure prevents the ink from affecting adhesive properties, which improves material handling. Compatible with solvent, eco-solvent and latex-ink printing, the vinyl conforms to complex curves, and adheres to steel, aluminum, PVC, melamine and other challenging surfaces. The film also contains Hexis’ HEX’Press air-release adhesive system, which simplifies installation.

The company also offers PC190G2, a clear, cast, pressure laminate designed to pair with HX190WG2.
