In Memoriam: Robert Joseph Wortley (1966-2009)

Worked with Accent Graphics, then became senior inspector for the city of Ft. Worth, TX

Robert Joseph Wortley, 43, passed away Saturday, November 14. Born July 19, 1966, in Dubuque, IA, the Hurst, TX resident worked for Accent Graphics (Prairie, TX) from 1992 to 2004, where he worked his way up to installation manager. He then worked at Federal Heath Sign Co. in Hurst, TX, for two years, before working for the city of Fort Worth, TX, as a sign inspector. He eventually became the senior sign inspector there. He was proactive, regarding sign ordinances, in the Greater Dallas Ft. Worth Sign Assn., a sub-group of the Texas Sign Assn.
Survivors include wife Deena; daughters Madison and Megan; brothers William and James; and sister Jodi Novak.
