As part of planned Cincinnati Convention Center updates, the large “Cincinnati” sign on an outside wall is also getting an upgrade, according to a news story by Emily Sanderson, digital media manager for NBC affiliate WLWT.com.

Moody Nolan (Columbus, OH), TVS Architecture (Atlanta) and the Cincinnati Center City Development Corp. (3CDC) “evaluated the building’s entire façade to identify potential areas for improvement, including the Cincinnati sign on the westernmost side of the structure,” as Sanderson wrote.

The updated sign will feature customizable LED letters for different colors, gradients and motion graphics, as well as animations or separate video streams.
