LexJet (Sarasota, FL) is distributing four new models of Canon U.S.A.’s imagePROGRAF series of printers. The printers will include fluorescent pink pigment ink, which LexJet says is an industry first for aqueous printers.

The imagePROGRAF GP-4000 (44-in.) and GP-2000 (24-in.) use 10 colors, including red, orange, green and violet ink, plus the new fluorescent pink ink. The imagePROGRAF GP-300 (36-in.) and GP-200 (24-in.) use five colors plus fluorescent pink ink.

The new printers include “radiant infusion” technology, which layers the fluorescent pink ink with other inks on the paper surface, enabling bright and soft color reproduction.

The imagePROGRAF GP Series will be available from LexJet in October, with shipping planned for November.
