Robin Donovan Signs of the Times June 2011 Issue

The Lincoln Electric Co.’s (Cleveland) VRTEX® 360 virtual reality arc welding trainer is being recognized by Cleveland-based Inside Business magazine’s Manny award for new product development. The training tool can be used to simulate stick, MIG and flux-cored welding processes; multiple weld-joint configurations and welding positions; and other welding scenarios. The program simulates sparks, slags, grinding and weld cooling.
