Las Vegas resort is the newest addition to the Strip.

M Resort Spa Casino purchased two, Daktronics Inc. (Brookings, SD) outdoor LED video displays and ProPixel® freeform video elements for two channel letter logo displays. Measuring approximately 24 x 38 ft., the two LED video displays were installed back-to-back on the spa/casino’s front-entrance pylon marquee. Prior to the March 1 grand opening, display operators advertised the date with pre-recorded video and animations. The M Resort plans to use the display primarily for on-premise property advertising.

Daktronics’ ProPixel® freeform video puck elements illuminate two, 44-ft.-tall channel letter displays placed on opposite ends and sides of the M Resort’s 400-ft.-tall tower. ProPixel® elements can accommodate most site to add an artistic video effect.

Positioned along South Las Vegas Blvd. and St. Rose Pkwy., the upscale resort is now the newest addition to the Las Vegas Strip. Located on more than 90 acres and towering 400 ft. above the Strip, the resort owns and operates all nine of its restaurants and five destination bars.

Anthony A. Marnell, III developed the M Resort and partnered with Marnell Corrao Associates (MCA) for the construction of the resort. MCA is responsible for the design and/or construction of other Las Vegas resorts, including Wynn Las Vegas, Bellagio, Mirage, Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino, Palazzo Suites, New York New York, Caesars Palace and Treasure Island. Future developments for M Resort will bring up to 1 million sq. ft. of retail in a partnership with Taubman Centers Inc. and a 14-screen digital-movie-entertainment complex.
