Make Kids Safer Announces OPIE Sign System

Make Kids Safer (Sevierville, TN) has announced the availability of the OPIE (Onsite Protection and Information Exchange), a dual-function school security/LED message sign.

According to Make Kids Safer, a variety of optional technologies are available, including ultrasound, microwave, radar, acoustics, light detection, metal detection, license plate recognition and more. The OPIE can make school safer in multiple ways, with the LED sign reducing confusion with real-time and accurate messages for student, staff and parents, per Make Kids Safer.

Make Kids Safer has also established a donor program for schools that do not have the budget for the OPIE.
