Matthews International (Pittsburgh) announced it has acquired the assets of Gasser-Olds Company, Inc. (Vernon, CA) including the patterns and designs required to serve its customers and provide them with continuity of service. Gasser-Olds ceased doing business effective Oct. 1. Gasser-Olds was a manufacturer of high-quality, custom bronze plaques and memorials founded in 1909.

“We are happy to begin serving all the foundry needs of Gasser-Olds customers,” said Matthews Cemetery and Architectural Products President R. Michael Eddy-Herrera. “Gasser-Olds had a heritage of producing high-quality products, and as the industry leader in metal signage and memorialization, we are immensely proud to be able to manufacture them moving forward.”
