MaxLite (West Caldwell, NJ) is introducing its Energy Star-certified LED architectural recessed downlighting for sign accents and other construction applications. Offerings as an alternative to HID, fluorescent and incandescent fixtures, the downlights are offered with several aperture sizes, color temperatures and wattage choices. The non-IC, LED downlights may replace 50W halogen bulbs, 39W ceramic-metal-halide fixtures and 100W HID lamps. MaxLite’s modules are available with 3000- and 4000, correlated-color temperatures. Four-in.-long models are available in 15 and 26W, and 6- and 8-in. versions in 15, 26 and 34W. The fixtures operate on universal, 120 to 277V, power-supply systems, with dimming capabilities down to 5% brightness when used on a 120V circuit.
