MultiCam® Inc. (Dallas) has introduced a manual, Value Vision system for low-volume digital finishing that cuts the need for costly registration equipment that’s designed for major industrial users. The Value Vision system prompts you to locate at least the first two fiducials, via its laser pointer. The system then extrapolates the position of the remaining fiducials based on the orientation, and then the distances between the initial few. The image of the cut file appears on the graphical keypad before the operator starts the cutting sequence. With the proper mechanical setup, the Value Vision system can make manual registration available to all MultiCam Router operators.
