Real Digital Media (Maitland, FL) is introducing a multimedia player for playback of high-quality video materials for digital-signage applications. MPX-1 can be used with flat-panel monitors. The content on each player is independently updateable from a remote location and can be used with wireless or wired networks. The device is capable of wireless downloading of high-impact video content.
The player is a solid-state, commercial-grade, IP-addressable video and audio player. It’s reportedly easy to connect to CRT monitors, flat-panel displays and projection systems, and it supports industry-standard, high-quality MPEG-1, MPEG-2 and MPEG-4 digital audio and video files.
