Mutoh America, Inc., (Phoenix) is releasing its 64-in.-wide ValueJet 1638WX inkjet dye-sublimation printer that replaces the ValueJet 1638W model. The aqueous-ink, CMYK 1638WX images at speeds up to 1,012 sq. ft./hr. and features an easy-to-navigate control panel; a sheet off function; a take-up system; a reverse-side, media feed lever (for easy material handling), a convenient maintenance door and a limited, one-year, onsite warranty. Mutoh’s Smart Printing features comprise its Intelligent Interweave (i²) print system that eliminates banding and the ValueJet Status Monitor (VSM) app for remote, printer-operations monitoring.
