Plans to Allow Illuminated Signs in Pataskala, OH

Revisions to a sign code that restricts business signage to 80 sq. ft. in four colors and bans internal illumination and changeable copy are currently underway in Pataskala, OH. The Newark Advocate reports the city’s planning commission acted in response to complaints from business owners. Planning Director Dianne Harris has called the existing code “unwieldy” and said changes “could be good for all residents.”
