Atofina Chemicals Inc. (Philadelphia) is presenting its enhanced Tuffak^® XL polycarbonate sheet, featuring improvements such as an integrated surface layer designed for better weathering resistance and a brighter white appearance attained through advances in processing capabilities and polycarbonate resin formulations. Tuffak XL is sold in sheets or rolls, and reportedly offers greater light diffusion, resulting in improved energy efficiency.

The company also introduces color-changing Plexiglas^® G3179. The acrylic, translucent material alternates from blue to white, depending on the degree of backlighting and ambient illumination. Standard applications include illuminated panels and fascias, wayfinding, POP, and architectural signage and various plastics applications.
