Roland DGA Announces Leadership Changes

Roland DGA Corp. (Irvine, CA) has announced three key changes to its leadership team under new President Amado Lara, according to a press release from the company.

Filling in Lara’s former position, Dan Johansen has joined Roland DGA as vice president of sales. Considered a veteran of the sign and graphics industry, Johansen previously served as US director of sales and marketing for industrial printing at Ricoh USA. In his new position, Johansen will be responsible for driving sales and growth across multiple industries. Additionally, as a member of the company’s senior management team, he will also collaborate with other members to create strategy and synergy across departments, as per release.

“We are extremely excited about these important organizational changes,” said Lara in the release. “Dan Johansen brings a wealth of talent and experience to our existing team, and his unique perspective will help generate new ideas that will allow us to expand outside of our current markets.

The company has also decided to promote two of their already existing members, Sid Lambert and Dan Wilson, both of whom have been with the company for nearly 17 years.

Lambert, served most recently as US sales manager and has been promoted to director of sales, where he will be responsible for digital print division sales in North America and South America, excluding Brazil, and overseeing Roland DGA’s current and growing reseller channel.

Wilson, former marketing director, has been promoted to vice president of marketing and customer development. In his expanded role, his responsibilities center around driving demand for the company’s product offerings — overseeing marketing, customer service and sales development functions to cultivate new customers and markets. Similar to Johansen and Lara, Wilson also serves on Roland DGA’s senior management team.

“We’re also thrilled about being able to promote from within. Both Sid Lambert and Dan Wilson have been instrumental in helping Roland DGA achieve its industry-leading position and record sales in recent years. We look forward to the future contributions they will make in their expanded roles,” said Lara in the release.
