Roland DGA Corp. (Irvine, CA) is announcing its Roland DisplayStudio dynamic-digital sign system. The turnkey system includes content-management software; a compact digital- media player, mounting hardware; and high-resolution, commercial-grade LCD displays ranging from 32 to 55 in. For end users who already have a monitor, the system is also available with just the software, media player and mounting hardware.
Intended for POS displays, event graphics, restaurant menuboards, retail signage, corporate news broadcasts and more, the system’s presentations can be produced and managed virtually from any Windows-based or Mac computer. The content-management software includes a drag-and-drop interface to simplify both producing presentations and organizing them into playlists.
Several file formats are supported, including MOV, WMV, JPEG, PNG, PPT, SWF, PDF and MP4. To ensure immediate success, professionally designed presentation templates are included with the software. These templates allow the user to quickly and easily combine images, text and logos into dynamic digital presentations, the company states. High-definition (HD) playback maximizes image quality.
Through Roland Care, Roland DisplayStudio customers will have access to an extensive library of online educational resources, including webinars, video tutorials, product documentation, and tips-and-tricks articles. The system comes with a three-year warranty.
