Roland DG Corp. (Irvine, CA) is announcing the 64-in.-wide, SOLJET PRO4 XR-640 advanced printer/cutter that features accelerated print speeds, integrated print/cut technology and a new, dual-inline printhead system that fires seven droplet sizes. The PRO4 XR-640 package with Roland’s Intelligent Pass Control® offers four ECO-SOL MAX2 ink configurations (with white, metallic silver and a new light black that smoothes gradations) and an integrated, automatic contour-cut system. The maximum print speed is 528 sq. ft./hr. Roland says its ideal for producing banners, signage, POP, decals, labels, vehicle graphics, backlit displays, building wraps and photo reproductions.
