Safety Step Intl. Ltd. (Sydney, Australia) is offering Adverstep, an extruded-aluminum stairstep cladding that provides an advertising-graphics surface. Adverstep comprises an architectural-grade, aluminum alloy, a 15-micron, anodized finish; a slip-resistant, PVC layer designed to accommodate high traction; a glow-in-the-dark safety strip; and a clear, polyethylene lens onto which inkjet- or screenprinted graphics may be fitted. To affix Adverstep, the company recommends an aggressive, permanent, urethane adhesive and screws through both the horizontal and vertical extrusions.
