The recent Carr Fire caused plenty of heartbreak in Northern California, but owner John Robbins and his team at Signarama in Redding, CA, made sure first responders were recognized for their humanitarian efforts. Only a day after evacuating his family, Robbins returned to work, and with the help of co-workers and volunteers, Signarama Redding produced nearly 6,500 signs that thanked firefighters, police officers, National Guard members and other first responders. Signarama also printed signs with positive, uplifting messages, as well as “No Trespassing” signs for families that lost their homes. (The Carr Fire burned nearly 230,000 acres and caused eight deaths across Shasta and Trinity Counties.) Robbins noted that Grimco and HP both “stepped up in a very huge way” by donating materials.
