Two Promotions for Signs of the Times

SmartWork Media (Montclair, NJ) has announced Mark Kissling as the new editor-in-chief of Signs of the Times, the sign industry’s leading resource since 1906. Also, Grant Freking has been elevated to managing editor. Kissling had previously served as managing editor since 2016, and replaces Robin Donovan in his new role. Freking had served as associate editor since 2017.

I am both honored to have been entrusted to carry on the tradition of excellence for the sign industry s publication of record, and also excited to lead it into the future,  Kissling said. Under the guidance of SmartWork Media, I can t wait to share with our readers and advertising supporters all of the new, fresh and fun improvements coming to Signs of the Times, starting very soon online and in print with our April issue.
