Siotec Rebrands Itself as FESPA Italy Association

Siotec, the 10-year-old trade association that represents the Italian speciality-print community, has rebranded itself as FESPA Italia Associazione (FESPA Italy Assn.). The move follows similar decisions by several other FESPA (Federation of European Screen Printers Assn.) member associations in recent years (France, Finland, the Netherlands, Norway, Spain, Sweden and the UK) that now use the ‘FESPA Association’ brand to affirm their link to the international umbrella organization. These member associations remain autonomous and are not FESPA subsidiaries.
With support from FESPA Profit for Purpose, FESPA Italia Associazione will host its first event under the new brand, October 27, 2015 in Milan. FESPA Italia Day, a one-day event under the theme ‘Stampa che Fa Effetto’ (the WOW effect of printing), will present Italian case studies and ideas that participants can implement.
FESPA Italia Associazione will also host the second FESPA Southern European Congress in April 2016, following this year’s event in Barcelona. The Southern European Congress is a joint initiative of FESPA member associations in France, Spain and Italy, partly funded through the FESPA Profit for Purpose scheme.
