Steel Art Co. Appoints New CEO

Former VP of Operations Ashley Borell has acquired the family company.

Steel Art Co. (Norwood, MA) has named their former Vice President of Operations Ashley Borell to take over as CEO, according to a press release. 

The granddaughter of Steel Art Co. founder Norbert Borell, she joined the family company in 2012 and held the VP of operations position for eight years. She was among the five winning recipients of Signs of the Times’ Women in Signs Awards this year.

Her father and previous owner John Borell will continue at the company as chairman of the board of directors and lead the product development division, per the release. Borell’s husband, Greg Miner, has assumed the role of director of sales after previously serving as COO and director of sales.

“Thank you for the opportunity to serve this industry. These are exciting times for Steel Art Company. We are integrating new technology and new processes with decades of industry leading manufacturing experience to better suit our customers now and into the future,” Borell is quoted in the press release.
