Daktronics Inc. (Brookings, SD) has supplied the Palazzo Las Vegas hotel/resort/casino with three video displays.

Having been previously affiliated with the Las Vegas Sands Corp., Daktronics has provided displays for the newest hotel on the Las Vegas Strip in nearly three years. The Palazzo Las Vegas, located adjacent to the Venetian at the corner of Las Vegas Blvd. and Spring Mountain Blvd., now has a 23 x 32-ft., single-sided, concave, video display that incorporates its side wall and, at the front of the property, along Las Vegas Blvd., a 34 x 21-ft., dual-faced, video marquee. The displays have been promoting the resort’s grand opening on January 18. Controlled by Daktronics Venus® 7000 controller, the displays feature pre-recorded video content and advertise the Palazzo’s amenities, including Barneys New York and the upcoming Broadway hit “Jersey Boys,” as well as the Venetian’s entertainment offerings.

When combined with the neighboring Venetian and Sands Expo and Convention Center, The Palazzo Las Vegas will give Las Vegas Sands Corp. the largest hotel and convention complex in the world. Daktronics first supplied the Las Vegas Sands Corp. with ProStar® displays for the Venetian in 1999. The company has continued to contract with Daktronics to provide numerous displays for its properties in Las Vegas and Macau, China.
