This General Contractor Isn’t the Brightest Channel Letter of the Bunch

Things you wanted to say to frustrating clients, but didn’t.

“You are an idiot.”

To the GCs we work with who think they know everything. One time, we were trying to explain that individual letters all need to be wired together behind a wall and that we will need access behind the sign to service anything in the future. The GC said, “I’ve been doing this for 30 years, so don’t tell me how things need to be wired.” Well, he ended up drywalling the sign in so we couldn’t get behind it to wire everything. Had to cut into the drywall to finish up the sign.

Woulda Coulda Shouldas are collected from the Signs of the Times Brain Squad and shared anonymously.
