True Tales

This Sign Guy Told Too Many a Lie, and Then the Hammers Started to Fly

Can’t Touch This

I used to work for a really strange guy who would habitually tell the customer anything but the truth and had a knack for getting under people’s skin. He would occasionally show up on the job site and needless to say, the customer was always unhappy with him. I could tell because two different times (about a year apart) I witnessed a client chase him outside with a raised hammer in hand, and actually throw the hammer at him. Twice? Two different guys? Yes, this is true and it is also about the most PG version I can tell. Oh, the memories! — Paul Lachapelle, Signs Plus Inc., Bellingham, WA
