As any business owner knows, there’s a lot of heat in the kitchen and the pressure can be immense. I try to diffuse the stresses by disconnecting from tech and info overdose whenever possible and go outside. I like to spend time with family, friends and our dogs! I’m the product of parents in the foreign service and was born overseas, which fostered a true love of travel, exploration and wanderlust. Whenever possible, I try to go somewhere new or even well visited, Most importantly, get out there and fill your passport with stamps! There’s no better way to gain true perspective on life or your business than by seeing it all from other cultures and geographies! That, to me, is a fantastic way to balance work and life!
