In between the Wendy’s and Arby’s on Victory Dr. in Savannah GA, stands a remnant of fast-food history: a sign reading, “Taco Bell Drive Thru” with an added hat on the top. According to local NBC affiliate WSAV.com, a Taco Bell employee claims the sign marked an original Taco Bell location, dating back to1962. Since then, Taco Bell’s logo has undergone more changes than a Chili-Cheese Chilito.

Back then, drive-thru fast food was still relatively new, hence the prominent “Drive Thru” copy beneath the familiar sombrero, bandana and bell. Hopefully, passers by hoping to satisfy their fix for Nachos BellGrande don’t get confused and wind up having to settle between whatever Arby’s is serving and Dave’s homemade chili.
