Xeikon America (Elgin, IL) has announced the opening of its new North American headquarters in the Chicago suburb of Elgin, according to a press release from the company, a developer and manufacturer of digital printing presses and related equipment.

Eighty percent of the 39,000-sq.-ft. facility is dedicated to customer support functions, including the company’s Innovation Center which offers customers greatly expanded demonstration and training capabilities, both virtually and in person.

All of the more than 60 employees housed at the company’s previous offices in Itasca have elected to make the move to the Elgin location. Much of the Xeikon America workforce is virtual, working from their homes and other locations across the US and Canada — all per the release.
