Scotchcal IJ 39 designed for low-energy surfaces

3M Commercial Graphics (St. Paul, MN) is debuting 3M™ Scotchcal™ IJ39, a high-tack material designed for surfaces where adhesion is challenging. The 3.5-mil vinyl contains a high-tack, pressure-sensitive adhesive, and bonds to powdercoated paints, low-surface-energy plastics and other difficult substances. 3M Commercial Graphics offers the material in 54-in.-wide, 50-yard-long rolls.

The company is also adding five new colors to its offerings for its 1080 wrapping film series. New options include satin white aluminum (1080-S120), matte indigo (1080-M27), matte deep black (1080-M22), gloss deep blue metallic (1080-G217) and gloss charcoal metallic (1080-G211). The 60-in., 3.5-mil, dual-cast film requires no printing or overlaminate, and may easily repositioned because of its air-release channels.
