AXYZ Intl. (Burlington, ON, Canada) is introducing the Camtech Z7, an entry-level, three-axes CNC router. The machine features a welded-steel frame, 5-HP spindle with an operating range of 6,000-24,000 RPM and chip pick-up, a Camtech machine controller, a vacuum-ready T-slot bed, 4 GB onboard memory, and 6-in. gantry clearance. Some available options include vacuum-holddown pumps and blowers, Artcam Insignia, Express or Pro software, and a heavy-duty, drag knife. The Camtech Z7 offers a 54 x 104-in. process area, and a 48 x 96-in., vacuum grid.
