Project Description
As guests enter the large facility they are greeted with an old-world building facade that stretches just over 100 ft. long and 35 ft. tall. Period signs for fictional businesses honor the founders and current owner/operators of the business.

Multiple layers of HDU with handpainted finishes and glazed faux burlap. Oil-stained Sherwin-Williams acrylic and Ronan Aqua Leaf paints.

Project Description
This project involved designing and fabricating signs for two adjacent stores. Making Waves is the sister store to Kauai Clothing Co. which is owned by Maui Clothing Co. Making Waves is their swimwear store. The common element which ties the two stores together is the Aloha girl graphic. She wears a bikini for the Making Waves swimwear branding and dons a floral dress for their clothing company. Both signs are multi-dimensional carved signs.
