Operating on 4, AA batteries, the equipment, designed to fend off birds and other unwanted animals, features a day mode, which uses flashing-LED lights and barking-dog sounds to repel pests, and a night mode that used only the flashing lights. The compact, portable devices can be stored nearly anywhere, the company reports.
