CADlink Technology (Ottawa, ON, Canada) is launching SignLab 8. The program’s back-end production queue, Visual Production Manager, accommodates multiple queues and printers, and offers automated or manual job management, according to the company. SignLab 8 also features 75 special-effects plug-ins; HalfCut, an automated, decal producer for cutting plotters; and Color Vectorization Wizard, which vectorizes all bitmap files. The system also enables PDF-file publication, which enables customers to view onscreen project proofs.
