An anonymous seller auctioned off the original Cartoon Network logo signs, letter by letter, on ebay on Jan. 17, months after Cartoon Network Studios vacated its Burbank, CA animation studio, according to a recent article by the animation industry news outlet Cartoon Brew.

Warner Bros. Discovery, which owns Cartoon Network, announced the merger of the beloved television animation studio with Warner Bros. Animation in October 2022. Cartoon Network Studios occupied the Burbank building from 2000 up until August of 2023. The team subsequently relocated to the Second Century Development building in Burbank close to Warner Bros., Amid Amidi of Cartoon Brew states.

The anonymous ebay seller, who goes by the screen name “teamburbank143,” wrote that Cartoon Network hired J-Squared General Contractors (Johnson City, TN) to oversee the conversion of the Burbank studio into an office building. J-Squared in turn contacted Western Sign & Awning (San Diego) to remove the signs. The seller then purchased the signs from Western Sign & Awning.

Each letter in the Cartoon Network logo came in a small and a large option due to size differences in the signs. The collection was listed at $300 and has since been sold out.
