Diageo North America Launches Outdoor-Advertising Campaign

Multi-million dollar campaign features a 3-D bottle of Smirnoff Source being submerged in water.

Diageo North America, a global, premium-drinks business whose brands include Johnnie Walker, Guinness and Smirnoff, is featuring a three-dimensional bottle of its new beverage, Smirnoff Source, on billboards in cities throughout the Northeast beginning in July and through August. The campaign also includes 15- and 30-second broadcast spots and online banner ads that allow consumers to use their mouse to manipulate the dancing water to create unique shapes and patterns.

The broadcast spots, entitled “Whoo! alright, yeah Uh Huh,” and “Smirnoff Source Drink Responsibly,” feature a stream of water dancing to the beats of numerous bands.
