UV-cure, hybrid-inkjet printer that will image C,M,Y,K, Lc, Lm, white and varnish inks

Shanghai Docan Tech Co. Ltd. (Shanghai) is announcing its 720 x 1,440-dpi, Docan 2030 UV-cure, hybrid-inkjet printer that will image C,M,Y,K, Lc, Lm, white and varnish inks (various ink options are available) on both soft and rigid media, up to 250-cm wide x unlimited length. The single-print maximum size is 2.05 x 3.2 m. The flatbed/roll-to-roll printer, which ships with your choice of a Photoprint, Onyx or Caldera RIP, features eight, Konica 512-14PL/42PL drop-on-demand piezo printheads. Standard Mode (bidirectional) print speed is up to 333 sq. ft./hr.
The optional, auto-circulate, white-ink systems will apply base, overcoat and spot layers.
In addition, you can apply the optional varnish as an all-over coating or as a spot highlight. The UV2030 also features a reverse-flow (hold or lift) vacuum table and an automatic, media-thickness detection/anti-crash system. The company also manufacture’s an LED-lamped model M10 that, it says, is faster than the 2030.
