Durst (Lienz, Austria; Rochester, NY) has introduced its Rho P10 Series, 10-picoliter, UV-cure printers that feature new-generation, high-production, MEMs printheads. The P10 Series comprises the Rho P10 200, 2-meter (80-in.) and Rho P10 250, 2.5-meter (98-in.) flatbed/hybrid printers, plus the Rho P10 320R 3.2 meter (126-in.) roll-to-roll printer. The machines feature Durst’s new Quadro® Array 10 printheads that utilize silicon-based, MEMS technology to generate fine-art quality with up to 1,000-dpi resolution. Durst says the CMYKLcLm printers produce fine, color graduations and perfect color reproduction; they also feature high level cost-efficiency and flexibility.
All can run unattended 24/7 and are equipped with precision media-handling systems to simultaneously print on two parallel panels or rolls; they also feature Durst’s workflow software, an easy-to-operate user interface and a precise media-transport systems.
