Océ USA (Trumbull, CT) has announced the Océ CS9050 is available for order in the United States. The 54-in.-wide, eco-solvent printer delivers high-quality prints at production speeds and can print 151 sq. ft./hr. Print modes range from 1,440 x 1,440 dpi to 540 x 720 dpi.

The Océ CS9000’s VariaDot imaging technology produces dots with variable drop sizes for fine details. It prints in waves instead of lines to reduce banding.

Sample applications include vehicle graphics, transit advertising, exhibit graphics, wayfinding and window displays. The eco-solvent inks used in the printer offer outdoor durability up to three years, without lamination. The operator maintenance of the printer is limited to only five minutes per week, according to the company.
