EFI adds Rastek Hybrid Flatbed

EFI (Foster City, CA) announces its 64-in.-wide, Rastek™ H650 UV-cure, hybrid, flatbed printer that prints CMYK, plus white ink, in grayscale resolutions up to 600 dpi. The printers binary-resolution mode images at 1200 x 900 dpi and its high quality, 16-pass mode images at 65 sq. ft./hr. The environmentally-friendly machine’s billboard mode produces 600×300 dpi at 230 sq. ft./hr. EFI says the H650 produces high-quality images at an affordable price.

The H650’s media-handling system comprises a vacuum belt drive with three vacuum zones for handling roll or rigid media up to 1.8 in. thick.
