EFI is announcing its EFI VUTEk GS5500LXr Pro printer that features 7pL grayscale UltraDrop Technology which, EFI says, provides high-throughput for jobs that require precise imaging. The UltraDrop Technology employs addressable, 7pL printheads to produce four-level grayscale with two ink-density levels that provides smooth shadows, gradients and four-point text. The printer’s low-temperature, LED-cure, EFI VUTEk GSLXr 3M™ SuperFlex (high-gamut) ink system allows you to process signs, vehicle wraps, textured-wall graphics, textiles, mesh and thin, heat-sensitive media.
EFI, with 3M Commercial Solutions, also offers a 3M™ MCS™ Warranty for vehicle graphics when produced using the appropriate 3M base film, EFI VUTEk GSLXr 3M™ SuperFlex UV inks (excluding white), the new EFI VUTEk GS5500LXr Pro printer and the appropriate 3M film overlaminate.
