Electronics For Imaging (EFI) (Fremont, CA) has introduced its 1.8m-wide, EFI Nozomi C18000, LED-lamped, ultra-high-speed, one-pass inkjet press for corrugated, paper packaging and display printing. The 360 x 720 dpi, in-line print system will produce 8,100 sq. m./hr., features a Seiko printhead system with four-level greyscale and seven-color output (including white). EFI says it will introduce a similar print system for POS image production in the near future.
