Epson (Los Alamitos, CA) has announced the SureColor F1070 Business Edition, a complete garment printing system designed for entrepreneurial creators ready to launch or grow their apparel business, according to a press release. The all-in-one solution includes everything needed to start printing high-quality merchandise from day one, without outsourcing or additional guesswork. It includes the SureColor F1070 hybrid direct-to-film (DTFilm) and direct-to-garment (DTG) printer with a compact size designed for maker spaces and home studios, and a robust set of inks and maintenance supplies for a wide range of fabrics and products. In addition, Epson is now offering white inks in a multi-pack ink program that saves consumers 25% compared to purchasing individual ink packs.

“The new SureColor F1070 Business Edition meets the market need of entrepreneurs and small artisan businesses new to DTFilm and DTG printing that are looking for a seamless way to get started,” Lily Hunter, product manager, Professional Imaging, Epson America, is quoted in the press release. “Delivering all the benefits of the high-quality, yet affordable, SureColor F1070 with more ink packs and maintenance resources, customers can start printing on day one to create hundreds of sellable items right away.”

Engineered for both DTFilm and DTG printing, the hybrid SureColor F1070 Business Edition supports creative entrepreneurs and artisans looking to bring their unique, high-quality garments and goods to market. The compact, studio-friendly design fits into small shops, garages or maker spaces, and its transparent viewing panels enhance and display the professional printing process. Supporting DTFilm printing, it allows artisans to go beyond traditional DTG printing and transfer personalized designs to virtually any fabrics, including uniquely shaped items, to further customize product offerings and expand new revenue opportunities — per the press release.

“The SureColor F1070 Business Edition offering is for makers looking to become moguls. It includes the tools and software needed to scale creativity into a thriving business,” Hunter also is also quoted in the release.
