Fastsigns Adds Six Canadian Franchises

Includes four-unit deal in the Maritimes

Fastsigns(R) (Carrollton, TX), has agreed to six new centers in Canada, to add to its current base of 22 Canadian centers.

As part of the four-unit agreement, franchisee Philip Zakem and three partners will open their first Fastsigns center in Halifax, NS, slated for the fourth quarter of 2013. They will also convert their independent sign business, located in Charlottetown, PEI, into a Fastsigns franchise in 2014. Their otherl two centers will open in Saint John and Moncton, NB.
 

In addition, the company signed two single-unit deals for new Fastsigns centers in Toronto and Calgary.
