First FESPA Digital India

Attracted nearly 3,000 visitors after having been postponed

FESPA’s first Digital India Show, which occurred February 28 to March 2 in Mumbai at the Bombay Exhibition Centre, attracted nearly 3,000 visitors. The visitors were primarily from India, but printers from Europe, North America, the Middle East and other Asian countries also attended.

Frazer Chesterman, FESPA’s managing director, said, “We had an excellent visitor turnout to our first digital Indian show, despite the event’s postponement due to the tragic terrorist attacks in Mumbai. This is a testament to the region’s buoyant and fast-growing digital market, Indian printers’ enthusiasm to explore the latest innovations in the sector and FESPA’s reputation to provide high caliber, value-driven events.”

FESPA World Expo India 2009 is scheduled for December 7-9, at Pragati Maidan Fair Ground in New Delhi.
