Fujifilm (Hanover Park, IL) is releasing its Acuity Select 20 series as a replacement to its Acuity Advance Select series that retains the advantages of the existing Acuity UV flatbed printer. The Select 20 series adds pneumatic pin registrations, a high-pressure vacuum system (no masking required), eased media loading, updated UV-lamp technology and options for light-cyan and light-magenta inks and a printhead maintenance system. The series is available in three (4-, 6- and 😎 channel models and combines grayscale technology with true flatbed architecture, the company reports. Table sizes are 98.4 x 49.2 and 98.4 x 121.3 in.; R2R options are available.
