Fujifilm (Valhalla, NY) is announcing its Uvistar Pro-8 grand-format, hybrid, UV-cure printer that features a parallel drop-size technology which produces high-quality or less-dense billboard-type prints. The printers, available in 11.4-ft. or 16.4-ft. print widths, will image on rigid, flexible, backlit, blockout, lightweight or heavy media. The automatic-mode, white-ink system allows layered — over, under or spot — printing. An innovative auto loader and un-loader allows you to print up to 10 sheets of rigid media; block-out sensors allows two-sided, opaque media printing.
