Gilman Bros. MountCor Foamboards

Gilman Bros. (Gilman, CT) is introducing MountCor® Canvas, a permanent, pH-neutral-adhesive, heat-activated foamboard that features the high strength required for long-term, display applications. The material bonds at 130° F in mechanical and hot-vacuum presses and at 180° F with rollers at speeds up to 10 ft./min. with no adhesive transfer. The low bonding temperatures make the board safe for heat-sensitive, inkjet printing, yet it aggressively bonds to canvas, textured art papers and synthetic media.
The company is also presenting MountCor Black, a dark, heat-activated foamboard that may be applied with mechanical, hot-vacuum or roller production. The material may be inkjet printed with water-based, UV-cure, solvent or latex inks, and is available up to 3/16 in. thick in panels up to 4 x 8 ft.
