Grant Sign Group Expands Western Services

Toronto-based Grant Sign Group Inc. has announced its sister company, Media Maintenance Inc. (MMI), has opened a digital-printing facility, Grant Imaging West, in Richmond, BC, Canada. This facility will produce large-format digital images for the OOH and POP sign industries.

MMI installs and maintains outdoor-advertising displays for Pattison Outdoor, Vancouver. MMI maintains more than 2,500 OOH advertising displays in the Greater Vancouver area. Pattison Outdoor was first in Canada to convert more than 200 tri-visions to a Slip-In-Slip-Out system, and MMI completed the conversion in under three months.

Bob Layton, MMI VP, has been in the business for more than 30 years and leads a staff of more than 40. Being able to produce flex copies and decal style prints in the Vancouver market will be a rewarding experience for both the company and its workers.

Tim Dubbin, a veteran of the OOH-advertising industry, spent 10 years as operations manager with Pattison Outdoor and also served as director of operations at Ampco Manufacturers. He’s been named sales manager for the western division.
